Watertight Exterior

House remodel reaches a key milestone

A building is considered watertight when all of the external elements are in place including the roof, windows, and siding. The house has now reached that milestone, so remodeler Mike Spillane is focused on finishing up some minor plumbing and electrical work in anticipation of a city building inspection.

Always make sure your remodeling projects comply with local codes. This is an important, best practice that safeguards you and the homeowner. Mandatory inspections complement your experience and act as a system of checks and balances for everyone. It’s also the law. Work without a permit may be subject to removal or other costly remedies.
