Now that demolition has begun in earnest, the actual process has begun to take shape rapidly. As seen in the photographs, the first week of demolition was devoted to tearing out the walls, ceilings, old ventilation system, and all insulation.
At this point, the entire upstairs and downstairs have the walls and ceilings completely gone, including old insulation, drywall, and unusable electrical. What is left behind is just the bare bones of the house—here is where the strength of the house can be seen. With the unusable parts of the house gone, reconstruction of the guts of the house can begin.
